Lead Instructor:
Scott Fitzgerald, who has a master’s degree in community planning from the University of Illinois, Chicago, is a longtime activist for social and environmental justice. While organizing with the Tarsands Blockade, against Keystone XL pipeline, he has physically stopped industrial activities by using Civil disobedience and direct action tactics. He is a true example that actions speak louder than words.
