Community Filming Event and Potluck at Nexen Beach

  • Nexen Beach Squamish

Residents of the Sea to Sky corridor, It's time we got together for some community building in the sun!

Local film maker Les McDonald wants to tell your story and document your opposition to the proposed Woodfibre LNG plant. Bring your family (and a potluck item) to Nexen Beach, enjoy socializing with others who share your concern for the future of Howe Sound.. Filming starts at 2pm. From Les: "We will document candid, conversational interviews. I'd like to know what it was like in the Woodfibre pulpmill days. I also want to talk to new families to the area, like my own, and hear why they chose to call this their home."

What to bring: Protest signs, lawn chairs and a potluck item please!

My Sea to Sky has wanted to get together with our members and get to know each other a bit more.

This is going to be a family event.

Would you like to volunteer to help? Please send a note to Les at
