Pancakes Not Pipelines is a community event to support Indigenous resistance tar sands pipelines at a local (Kinder Morgan) and provincial (Northern Gateway) level. 

Skwomesh Action is inviting all to the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) community on the North Shore for a pancake brunch with guest speakers and cultural performances connecting community to community resistance.

ABOUT:
Pancakes Not Pipelines is a grassroots fundraising event to support theUnist'ot'en Camp who have courageously set up a on the land encampment to block 7 pipeline projects from enter through their ancestral homelands.

Unist’ot’en Camp:
The Unist'ot'en Camp is a resistance community whose purpose is to protect sovereign Wet'suwet'en territory from several proposed pipelines from the Tar Sands Gigaproject and shale gas from Hydraulic Fracturing Projects in the Peace River Region.

Skwomesh Action:
Skwomesh Action was formed in early 2014 to build an organized resistance to pipeline and increased tanker projects that threaten the Salish Sea. The group’s members are Sḵwx̱wú7mesh-ulh Stémexw (Squamish People) from Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish Valley, and Sunshine Coast.
